Mohrsville Church of the Brethren

We welcome all ages and have something for all ages on Sunday mornings and on Wednesday evenings. See the Welcome Home page for directions, address, and contact information.

The main entrance for the sanctuary is the doors at the left facing the building. During inclement weather, there is a covered area for drop-off at the fellowship hall entrance (on the far right facing the building). Turn left when you get inside the hall, through two sets of double doors into the main Narthex. Sanctuary is on the right.

There are Sunday School classes for all ages from birth to 99. Please see the group and room listing below. You may leave your infants or children in their classes and be free to join one of the four adult classes.

Casual or informal attire is fine. It’s what’s inside that counts.

Music: During worship, we sing the great hymns of the faith with three short choruses in the beginning .

Our sanctuary, adult classroom, nursery, fellowship hall and rest rooms are handicapped accessible.

We have a children’s story time near the beginning of the worship service, and a NURSERY is provided for infants and young children up to the age of ___ during the remainder of the service.

SUNDAY SCHOOL

Directions to classrooms are from the front door of the church.

The Children’s Classes begin with singing—take the stairs, take hallway to left, straight, in the area to left:

Nursery Class (ages birth–2)—take the double doors to your right of the vestibule, first room on left

Beginners (ages 3-4)—take the stairs, straight, last room on left

Primary (grades K-1)—take the stairs, first room on right

Middler (grades 2-5)—take the stairs, straight, second room on right

Please meet children in their classrooms after the second bell.

The Junior and Senior High Classes meet in the Senior High Room to start:

Junior High—take the stairs, take hallway to left, first room on right

Senior High—take the stairs, straight, last room on right

The Adult Classes begin with singing in the Sanctuary:

Young Adults—take the stairs, turn left and straight ahead, right section

Pathfinders (Adults)—take the stairs, turn left and straight ahead, left section

Abundant Joy (Adults)—room to the right of the sanctuary

Homebuilders (Adults)—right into the new addition, Library room on left

Three things happen during the Offertory Hymn: You will receive an attendance book to sign and pass down the row. Please record your visit with us. The hymn is sung. The offering plate is passed. Immediately following the offertory hymn is the Doxology.
